Martial Arts can transform a person. From improving mental state and fitness, to starting a life long obsession and creating the best friend group anyone could wish for. You don't need to train with your family to attend these sessions, you'll be paired up with people around your size. Our Family Friendly sessions are a safe environment for the whole family - a family that kicks together, sticks together! While these sessions are designed for ages 12+ children can join from 10 years old if training with a parent or once assessed.
Our ITF TaeKwon-Do Syllabus
ITF TaeKwon-Do is regarded worldwide as the original. Over the years it has evolved and most Grand Masters would agree it has softened with time. Many clubs don't teach the throws, ground defence and self-defence syllabus that used to be a core part of the art. Some no longer do breaking as part of their gradings. The "hip twist" that generated power in the early days of TaeKwon-Do (and still exists in some styles) was removed and replaced with the "Sine-Wave" theory of power. Our syllabus teaches the current ITF syllabus, but adds elements from the older ITF syllabus, the military origins and even other styles of TaeKwon-Do. Your gradings will be conducted with the ITF ensuring that your rank is recognised all around the world, but along the way you'll learn additional skills from the other styles.
