Our first grading went very well – thank you all for your support.
We decided to mat the venue and this went down very well, so I think we’ll continue this tradition.
We had 13 students grading this first time, very happy with that when we’ve only existed for 9 weeks! The rest of our students were either not eligible (time in grade or amount of lessons) or were not quite ready yet.
Of all of those that graded, everyone passed with a mixture of grades from B to A*. Some of our Juniors were given the opportunity to grade as an adult to skip the Junior belts. They didn’t all achieve this, but tried very hard and should be proud of the new belt that they did earn.
